1. Analytics is off by default
Brainbunk does not load Google Analytics unless you select Accept analytics. Reject analytics is offered alongside acceptance. Your choice is saved on this device so the site can apply it on later visits.
You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time. Rejecting after acceptance disables future Brainbunk Analytics use, removes the loaded analytics script, and attempts to delete accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. Browser or network controls may also be used to clear or block site data.

Sudoku, Grid Sweep, Merge Grid, and Block Fit can be used without an account. If signed in, active Sudoku, Merge Grid, and Block Fit saves and statistics for those four games may also be synchronized to Supabase.
Chess against Stockfish and Gomoku against the TypeScript Computer Opponent are account-free and each store one game only in this browser. Their engines run locally and do not synchronize those saves. Gomoku does not use an LLM for move selection. Nonograms is account-free and keeps its current puzzle and statistics only in this browser; they are not synchronized. Luna requires sign-in and stores its authoritative Chess position and move history with the account; starting or resuming Luna does not delete the separate local saves.
If you choose Google or Microsoft sign-in, that provider may use its own cookies or storage on its domains to authenticate your account. Those items are controlled by the provider and are separate from Brainbunk’s optional Google Analytics setting.
3. Google Analytics cookies
Brainbunk uses Google Analytics measurement ID G-L98LBJ00QR. After acceptance, Analytics may set these first-party cookies:

Browser limits may shorten these durations. Legacy or configuration-dependent names such as _gid or _gat... are also included in Brainbunk’s withdrawal cleanup when accessible. Brainbunk keeps Analytics user and event data for up to 14 months; aggregated reports may remain available longer.
4. Strictly necessary and optional storage
Device-local game storage, account session storage when you choose an account, and the stored privacy choice support features you request. Analytics storage is optional and remains disabled unless accepted.
5. Other technical services
Brainbunk loads its web fonts from Google Fonts. This sends an ordinary network request, including the requesting IP address and browser information, to Google. It does not enable Brainbunk Analytics or give Brainbunk access to a Google account.
Hetzner hosts the Brainbunk VPS in Finland. OVH SAS provides the domain, DNS, and email services from France. These services and Supabase may create technical or security logs when their systems are used. Such logs are not browser cookies and are not controlled by the Analytics choice. Brainbunk’s ordinary VPS logs are normally kept for up to 30 days; provider-managed logs follow the providers’ own security schedules.
